What did you do before PowerShell for .NET scripting needs ?

This subject came up in a chat, and I find the tool I did use before powershell, I first wanted to show a screendump but then did think it would be nice to share this on my blog as a "Blast from the past" ;-) As I needed .NET access before PowerShell,
